Jeffrey - thank you for the update. I can only imagine how deflated you must feel after having such high hopes for treatment at MAYO, then having them say that you "no longer needed MAYO". I hope you can appeal this decision. Obviously, such a medically improbably drop in your ferritin level should be further investigated. All of us who heard your story are very concerned for you.
