I am suffering the same problems without the tachycardia. The leg cramps are eased with Theraworx Foam
which stops the severe cramping immediately. I also take Hylands Leg Cramps pills under my tongue when
I am awakened with severe spasms and leg cramp pain.
I believe it is related to the Vegas Nerve. The Neurologist says the only other thing besides regular physical therapy, plus home exercises 2 x daily and 3 to 5 miles walking daily, that may help, is surgery.
I am not wanting to do that. I exercise religiously, it helps with leg cramps.
I have Neuropathy, Venous Insufficiency, Varicose veins and arthritis which add to the complications with pain.
I don't think surgery or laser actually helps to reduce pain, no doctor could promise that.
So, I continue with therapy and home medications.
I prop two pillows under my knees at night. I usually get up two times a night and walk to get the muscles
relaxed. Sometimes I move to my Eames Chair with Foot Rest and pillows behind back and head to sleep
the rest of the night. Hope this helps. What do you do to relieve the pain?

@amberamberette Hugs are the very best medicine!

@amberamberette I used to get these very intense pain in my lower leg muscle. I believe it was from a statin and when I was changes from Simvastatin to Atorvastatin it got much better. But the way of stopping them for me as they always happen while lying down was to put wait on the leg and just stand up and it stopped the sharp pain. Now i think its only happen maybe twice since I switched many years ago.
