I'M WITH YOU ON HANDLING DRUGS...I HAVE MULTIPLE ALLERGIES AND COUGH ON MANY BP MEDS
IT TOOK 5 YEARS TO FIND GOOD OLD LOSARTAN WHICH I'VE TOLERATED FOR 30 YEARS, NO COUGHING AND NO PALPITATIONS, VERY LITTLE DIZZINESS, SOME BALANCE ISSUES, BUT THAT CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO MILD ESSENTIAL TREMOR AND NEUROPATHY IN BOTH FEET AND LEGS.
THE CARDIOLOGIST NOW WANTS TO TAKE ME OFF LOSARTAN AND PUT ME ON 5 DRUGS ALL AT ONE TIME FOR LEFT BUNDLE BRANCH BLOCK AND RIGHT A BLOCK WHICH HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED 1995.
I'M TERRIFIED TO GO OFF LOSARTAN WHICH HAS WORKED SO WELL. THERE ARE SERIOUS CONTRA-INDICATIONS LISTED FOR EACH OF THE FOLLOWING': JARDIANCE, ENTRESTO, TOPROL, VALSARTAN & INSPRA. HAS ANYONE BEEN PERSCRIBED THESE 5 DRUGS TO BE TAKEN DAILY? PLEASE COMMENT.

@amberamberette Can you get a second opinion? Would be worth it before you make a change. And what happens when you voice concerns to the cardiologist wanting to change your meds? Do they have a good reason? Do they have an alternative? If a doctor minds you asking these questions it may be a reason you need to see another doctor for a 2nd opinion. Wishing you well.
