Spinal compression fracture: What helps with the pain?
I've been living with an compression fracture nearly five years, I have had numerous injections in the back from 3 different pain clinics including Mayo Clinic. Is anyone else living with this pain? Nothing has helped. I take Tramadol once a day, does not help much, if I take more I feel nauseous and can't eat. Has anyone found something to help with pain?

@sue417 in USA, reclasp is what made me so sick.
@niecie66 Deneice, doctors also talk about weight bearing exercise for bone strength. It somehow cues the body to add more minerals to bone. My mom also had a parathyroid problem that was pulling calcium out of her bones. I would think your endocrinologist would have checked for that and tested blood calcium levels.

Hi
That's a drag I have never had any issues with it at all I do a lot of hydrating prior to my shot and after my shot with coconut water and roar a hydrating drink
I was diagnosed with osteoporosis this spring after several minor falls resulted in 2 pelvic fractures and 3 vertebral stress fractures. I had a kyphoplasty preformed on my T12 vertebrae last Tuesday. When I tell you this has remarkably changed my life, please believe me. I am no longer bent over like a question mark and the excruciating pain is gone in that part of my back.
I have an appointment next week with my pain management doctor to start the trial for the spinal cord stimulator for my lumbar spine and siatic nerve pain.
If you are having issues with stress fractures, I highly recommend asking your Dr if a kyphoplasty would help you
