Dizziness/Vertigo for almost 2 years

@bibaswansarkar I suffered from vertigo for 40+ years. I'm now 67 and have it periodically. There are maneuvers you can do or have a doctor perform. One is the Epley maneuver although I never had luck with that. It actually made things worse but only for a bit so you could say that's a questionable result. One of the major things is you have to watch how you move. The little silica crystals that help with balancing have become displaced in the ear canal. Once you get them back in place either by sleeping, maneuvers, or just laying down for many hours a day, you then have to be careful with movements. Vertigo put me in the bed for 3 days, has sent me to hospital where I received Valium, don't ask how or why that worked but it did, and was throwing up. It is awful. I have meclizine, which is antivert, that I take at the slightest hint of an episode. It's been a while since I've had one but one reason is because I think when I'm about to do something that will cause it, I don't follow through. I immediately stop and rewind if that makes sense. Most times I can lay down for a bit and stop it. Hope you get better soon.
