Will be monitoring my reaction to my prescription of the generic version of Entresto. Have not started that generic bottle yet.

I wanted to ask you who was the manufacturer of your generic. My generic comes as Sacubitril/Valsartan. The manufacturer of my generic is Biocon Pharma Inc. This manufacturer is in India. The pharmacy I use is CVS.

Entresto (brand) comes from Novartis. Since your reaction was to the generic it would help to know who manufacturer of your generic. I would assume now there are multiple manufactures of generic.

I know I take carvedilol (generic for Coreg) and sometimes the pill changes (size, form). I call the pharmacist. The pharmacist will say yes, it is carvedilol but a different manufacturer.

If I were you, I would contact the manufacturer of your generic and pass on the side effects you had. Give them your lot number. It could be specific to your lot number of the other ingredients in their pill other than Sacubitril/Valsartan.

Again, could I get the manufacturer of your generic? I want to pass on your experience to my heart failure doctor at Mayo Jacksonville. I see him in a couple of weeks. I want to be able to state your experience, who was your manufacturer, and mine if different. He will know if similar incidents have come up.

I'll call my pharmacy and ask who manufactured the generic Entresto I was given. I don't have the bottle anymore.
