I am a senior with sun damage. I get a yearly blue light treatment to kill the hidden potential skin cancers deep within the skin. I have AKs but no basil or Mohs surgery and have had Aldara and Carac skin treatments. Sure --some peeling after the blue light but it's protective treatment. It a very good treatment to prevent skin cancer so it's worth peeling or some discomfort. AK's can become cancer as well as moles and It's paid for by Medicare and it is a medically necessary procedure to prevent deadly skin cancer.
