Hi Amanda,

Please, please get a new bed asap!

We've been using Tempur-Pedic for years, always firm. It does adjust to the contours of your body's shape. Personally, I can only sleep on a firm mattress, without any spring coils. That said, it's not good if you can only sleep on one side. I had my shoulder replaced and after sleeping on my back for two weeks (ugh), My right hip gets sore from sleeping on it all night. So it's fine when I can sleep on both sides.

The only other bed that looks very interesting is Sleep Number, where you can adjust the firmness and temperature, on each side of some beds. If I didn't already own a Tempur-Pedic, I'd take a serious look at Sleep Number.

Please let us know what you do!

Joe

Hey joe! Thank you so much for your reply. Yeah for a long time I've only been able to sleep on my back because the pain in my legs gets too severe for me to sleep on the side. But now the nerve pain in my back has gotten super bad and laying on it constantly is making it worse. Tempurpedic is definitely very popular with everyone, so I will certainly be trying that soon. I will keep you posted!
