My husband had ground glass mass monitored for 10 yrs w/out change. 11th year developed NSCLC in same LL lobe — had Lobectomy, Chemo, now immunotherapy. Should that lobe have bern removed when gg tumor was originally discovered? Might that have kept cancerous tumor from developing?

@abob
In the sixth year my gg nodule turned color and grew 1MM/ The lobectomy said it was stage one and grade two adnocarcinoma
At nine months I am still clean and the second lung cleared the pleural fluid Im sorry to hear it grew to needing chemo. Mine was pain free and uneventful so far
Good luck
