Acupuncture for motility disorder
I’ve been recently diagnosed with a motility disorder,I have reflux, gastroparesis, and chronic constipation.I’ve been feeling so bloated lately and tried acupuncture for the first time today,it helped my bloating a lot and I seem to be able to pass gas more easily and feel a little better.I’ve tried acupuncture for tendonitis before and it helped relieve my elbow pain but I never knew it is also applicable for digestive issues,I just wanted to share this experience with those that are suffering multiple discomforts form GI issues.

2 Reactions@xcalak - acupuncture is also something you can find at an academic medical center, which has a medical school and a teaching hospital.
Here is some Mayo Clinic information on acupuncture that may be useful:
- Acupuncture https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/acupuncture/about/pac-20392763
At Mayo Clinic, acupuncture is part of Integrative Medicine and also Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Other academic medical centers have acupuncture in a Complementary Medicine, Pain Management or an Oncology department.
What kind of motility disorder do you have, xcalak? What are your major symptoms?
