Tapering schedules
There have been some interesting tapering schedules posted here which work for different people. I’m trying to find one that posted several years ago. On 6mg for 6 days, one day on 5. The next week, 6mg for 5 days, one day on 5. Or something like that. I think it was more complicated. I was down to 6mg and am trying to stop to 5 and it’s been horrible. Even alternating 6mg with a 5.5 every other day hasn’t worked. Pain and cortisol fatigue swooped back.

Don’t know that plan. You maybe at the “hard part”.
Somewhere around 7 is when it gets harder.
You maybe dropping too soon.
Suggest you try staying on for longer period before tapering.
My success was, had been, stay on for 3-4 wks, make sure I’m pain free before dropping.
