@bel59 My salty taste is also chronic and it’s almost always there. Lately it has become so very intense that it’s unbearable. My only solution is that cough drop. I have some issues with acid reflux but it’s not for the drops. It’s there for sometime. Those drops don’t bother. My suggestion is no harm trying. Praying for you.

@munira12 Thank you .. I'm going to give the cough drops a go. As you say - no harm in trying. I am pretty much prepared to try anything and everything as, like most of the contributors here, seen multiple doctors and therapists with no positive outcomes. My health otherwise is generally pretty reasonable so gladly not concerned about any collateral effects. Will report back once I've tried the cough drops for a short time. Best wishes to all.
