@pleasesayagain I'm going through the exact same thing. I'm thinking of asking if bio gentic testing would help. Have you had this done?

I’ve had every test and scan you can think of — imaging, ultrasounds, blood work, even a PET scan — and nothing ever showed anything. I don’t know how long you’ve been dealing with this, but if they still can’t find the cause, I’d suggest going ahead with the surgery, either pleurodesis or VATS, and getting a biopsy.

My biopsy, like I mentioned, didn’t show anything either. The surgery didn’t work 100%, which can happen — mine worked about 70%. But at least I don’t have to get drained every month anymore. Now, I just have to monitor my pockets of fluid.

If you have any other questions, feel free to message me. I’ve been dealing with this for about a year now and finally had surgery. Wish I had the surgery sooner.
