Yes, it definitely is a mentally debilitating condition. I have it at least for 4/5 years. Getting more intense as time passes. No doctor could tell me what it is. Anyway I found out that staying hydrated is crucial. And another thing is Ricola sugar free cough drops. They’re a life saver.

@munira12 , sorry yours is not improving. Mine is either the same, or possibly a little better. I intend to stay my course with good nutrition and treat my vitamin deficiency. My levels show normal now, but I know it takes a long time to get the cells repaired. I’m still wondering if this could be spine related. Idk.

@munira12, mine is a chronic and often overwhelming 'salty' taste. I am concerned that, if I try them, the Ricola cough drops may be too acidic making them impossible to keep in my mouth. What do you think?
