Do cognitive abilities return after stopping aromatase inhibitors?

I have mild cognitive issues with anastrozole. Mostly it's hard to focus and I start one task after another but forget to finish anything. So I decided to have a trial of exemestane. Exemestane didn't work for me in the past--caused severe tinnitus and ear pressure. But supposedly it's a bit easier on the brain, so I'm giving it a 2nd chance. I'm starting the 1/2 tab daily--med onco says this is OK.

I hope it works for you. I hope you feel better with a lower dose.
It’s frustrating that they want us to take pills at eliminate estrogen, but our body needs estrogen function. I’m having issues with exemestane too, so I’m wondering what else exists.
