A new term (at least for me) Non-BMD gainers

Just came across an article of possible interest in PubMed.gov
"One-year bone mineral density gains with anti-osteoporotic medications and clinical factors associated with non-BMD gainers" published in 2025

tillymack, thanks. I'm so tempted to purchase this article. 35% of teriparatide users are non-BMD gainers at one year. I fall under that rubric, but made up for the non-gain at 2 years.

@gently You had no gains the first year, but the second year was good? Interesting!

@gently Best to read the abstract first (if you have not already) especially since this was an observational study. You might reach out to your public library possibly for a free copy under interlibrary loan.

tillymack, thanks. I can't get it through the library. I did read the abstract and want to see the numbers. I have a few connections I'll hit up before paying.
