@johnbishop Thanks for the information. I will access it.
I have numbness on my feet, hands, and it is now moving up my legs. I also feel numbness on my lips and nose now. My itching is everywhere especially my face and scalp.
I also do not feel pain.

How were you diagnosed? With the skin biopsy test? There is also a genetic test one can take to see if one has the SFN genes. I will be getting tested shortly.

@onlinescoop - I had the neuropathy symptoms 20+ years before finally deciding to get a diagnosis, mainly because the numbness was progressing up my legs. I waited because every PCP I discussed it with told me it was probably nerve damage and they could do some tests to determine if that's the cause but when I asked, if it is nerve damage what can you do to treat it, the answer was always nothing. So I kept waiting to see a neurologist until I wanted answers and I got them. Unfortunately for me, it was there is no treatment for the numbness. The diagnosis was done through nerve conduction tests and a physical examination by the neurologist. I have had several genetic tests but neither showed causes that have a connection with neuropathy. I have often thought of having a skin biopsy test to see if it could confirm whether or not my neuropathy is getting worse but decided it's not going to change or offer any new treatments for me so why have it done.
