My search has not been fruitful in finding in the US companies that sell bioactive collagen peptides with FORTIBONE that includes the registered trade mark as used by the study. Can anyone share where to buy safely in the US? What companies produce this 5 gram a day powder that is not cost prohibited ($30/monthly). It seems there are horror stories about hip fractures, etc on some of these drugs so have been on HRT for about 9 months, doing strength training, and hope to find this suppliment before my next scan. I will report back after the scan.

Can’t find marine with Fortibone which is absorbed slightly better than others.
I tried AlgaeCal thinking it is a marine peptide due to its name, but it’s chicken based.

@meri8181 I have had experience with algaecal Plus for over 10 years and strontium for a short time. It did not do enough for me to just rely on that. I unfortunately had to go to the medicines I might have lots of problems depending upon which one we're talking about. But the algaecal plus I've continued with just because it's a way I can get calcium that doesn't bother me. So many of the other calciums just bother me plus it's good with other vitamins like the k and the D that I find it beneficial.

I buy AlgaeCal collagen with Fortibone from Amazon. It is expensive though. It's cheapest to buy the 3-pack.
I ultimately decided that the possible benefit of collagen is not large enough, and not proven enough, for me to bother with.
