@yardsend Not sure if others mentioned that, and for your information and thoughts, the rifampin has been in question. Many Bronchiectasis specialists are no longer prescribing it. There is information on the web with the NIH about that. Also above @ crepass indicated information regarding it all, the rifampin.
Hope you get your the right answers from the doctors and cleared up.

Hi Barbara,
Thanks for your comments and concern. I could have been clearer that my rash seemed to be entirely due to the Levofloxacin and cleared up after I stopped it several months ago. I have continued rifampin without problems (knock on wood). My intent in discussing here was to emphasize that a rash can be a sign of possible serious side-effects.
