My HCM cardiologist initially gave me 3 choices, alcohol ablation, Camzyos or surgery. I was afraid of Camzyos because of the side effects. I had a cardiac cath, TEE and met with the cardiac surgeon and decided to go with the surgery. After these tests, they said I wasn’t a candidate for the alcohol ablation. I already have a pacemaker. My symptoms of SOB and dizziness get worse with high heat and humidity.
