Yale study reports chronic symptoms after Covid vaccine.

Posted by searcher1 @searcher1, Feb 20 2:11pm

A small number of people report chronic symptoms after receiving COVID-19 shots. A new study provides clues for further research.

Some of the most common chronic symptoms of PVS include exercise intolerance, excessive fatigue, brain fog, insomnia, and dizziness. They develop shortly after vaccination, within a day or two, can become more severe in the days that follow, and persist over time.

Along with spike protein persistence, the researchers are assessing the contributions of autoimmunity, tissue damage, and Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) reactivation.

I hope they can remedy your fissure. A couple of stitches maybe? But it is a sensitive area to stitch.

No suturing anal fissures. That would be a last resort. Many heal on their own. Talk to your doctor.

I have had long covid for 2 years now. Both my heart doctor and regular doctor said no more vaccine or boosters for me...avoiding large groups of people too now.

The truth is the vaccine I’m 💯 sure caused your symptoms tho the covid infection could have started you down the pathway and the vaccine finished the job. I can tell u I’m 💯 sure because I never had covid but literally 4 days after the first Pfizer vaccine I became suddenly ill. I mean, sudden onset vertigo, dizziness, internal tremor, head fullness buzzing sensation with tinnitus and I had difficulty talking, concentrating and profound life altering fatigue. 4.5 years later after 3 shots I now am dx with Lupus SLE; MECFS; POTS; Dysautinomia; PEM; Tachacardia, and who knows what will further develop as time goes on. In my case, I have no doubt that the vaccine caused autoimmune disease for me. Research has shown that Covid and the vaccine can cause autoimmune disease so for you it’s most likely both Covid and the vaccine are responsible for your illness. I would have your doctor send you for lab work to test your ANA and go from there……it took over 4 years to get my dx and I don’t understand why doctors aren’t flying in that the vaccine and covid impact a persons immune system so if they get sick and stay chronically sick they need to test for autoimmune…this isn’t rocket science 🙄. I wish you well.

Not sure if this will help...

I found this enlightening -
8:00 minute - Difference in Percent of Participants Experiencing Symptom (Long Covid – PVS post-vaccination syndrome)
Long Covid -
Memory problems, Changed sense of smell, Brain fog, Shortness of breath, Cough, Sore throat, Excessive fatigue, Difficulty speaking properly, Changed sense of taste, Fatigue, Congested or runny nose, Phantom smells, Runny nose, Phlegm in back of throat, Headache, Constant thirst, Night sweats, Hypersomnia, Confusion, Insomnia, Hair loss, Dry scalp or dandruff, Dizziness, Throat pain or discomfort, Postnasal drip, Exercise Intolerance, Wheezing, Swollen hands or feet, Cold/burning lung sensation, Changes in voice, Phantom tastes
PVS -
Loss of hearing, Suicidal thoughts, Feelings of impending doom, Palpitations, Tinnitus, Numbness, Internal vibration, Neuropathy, Burning sensations
(Note: other studies have similar and additional symptoms)

“At the International Congress of Immunology (IUIS) in Vienna, immunologist Akiko Iwasaki of Yale University (USA) expressed hope that treatment options can be found for at least some of those affected by conditions such as ME/CFS and long/post-COVID. In an APA interview, she emphasized that the causes must be addressed. She sharply rejected views that ME/CFS or post-COVID might not be somatic illnesses. “

I have been following Dr. Akiko Iwasaki ( Yale - Medicine - Immunology ) to see what else she finds - google her name for more information.

The booster thread was removed - its important to have discussions related to the vaccines since there are studies related to them and LC. Everything should be on the table for discussion/research until LC is eradicated.
