Prolozone injections
I'm scheduled for a knee replacement on March 10, but just heard about the Prolozone shot. Has anyone had a Prolozone shot, and did you have success?

It's worth a try, just wondering if it's the same as prolotherapy.
@artscaping
Good morning I have a question about Prolozone
If you have stainless steel hardware in your knee from a previous surgery from 1977
Will this injection oxidize the metal in the knee?
Thank you so much!
Welcome @fancynancysue, Unfortunately @artscaping is no longer following Connect. I had my right knee replaced several years ago and was told that there are always risks associated with the different procedures and shots. I think it's better to discuss the pros and cons with your doctor or care team. Here's some information on the topic that may help with some answers:
"Prolotherapy is an injection treatment. Proponents claim it relieves pain by jumpstarting your body’s natural healing abilities. It's not FDA approved, and most studies have found no scientifically-provable benefits."
