Anyone been on IV Ertapenem antibiotic?

@lmh7 I see that no one has replied to your question - it seems that it is rare to be treated with it for NTM infections - can you tell us what led to this point?

How is treatment going so far? Are you doing home infusions, with or without medical assistance?

@sueinmn I am now finished with the IV treatment and I feel so much better! I had been on several oral antibiotics almost continuously for the past year and the BE flare-ups kept happening right afterwards so that is the reason for the IV Ertapenem. I had no side effects while on it. I had a PICC line and went to my local hospital once daily to get the infusion. I just started Brinsupri this week so I'm hoping it will be a game changer.
