Saw a doctor in my regular doctor's office yesterday, as he is on vacation, and she agreed that it didn't seem to work for me. She did tell me to taper off the lorazepam, which was the main reason I made the appt and prescribed Doxepin; said to discuss going back on Ambien when I see my regular doctor next week. After reading about it, I decided not to take it - why add something new to my body? Will resume the Ambien. I've only been on 1 mg Lorazepam for 25 days, with several 1/2 tab doses and one night of trazodone, so minimum tapering seems adequate; the pharmacist concurred. Thanks for your interest! not going back to the sleep specialist who prescribed trazodone, perhaps obviously!!
