I had Reclast last November and in April I started with awful pain and lack of usage of left arm, which was arm for the infusion. I saw my rheumatologist yesterday for my annual visit and I told her of my discomfort, even though now the pain is not as bad and my use of my arm has improved, even though I still can not raise it straight over my head. She said probably my pain was due to the injection itself in the muscle and not the Reclast. Regardless I am not taking the Reclast again and she is putting me on Fosamax. I am hoping for no side effects from this but I will be asking the group their opinions. Hopefully your pain will subside after a few months.

@ladybugnc
I am puzzled as ReClast is given by infusion into a vein and not by intramuscular injection.
