Constant tinnitus: Are there any solutions?

Hi All,
I have constant tinnitus which sounds like a car or truck engine or a plane overhead. I also have only 10 % hearing in my left ear and am considering getting a cochlear implant in that ear. Has anyone gotten a CI who also has tinnitus? I'd love to know if it helped reduce your tinnitus.

@2abbygail I am in the same boat. I lost hearing in my left ear. I am going to try the CROS hearing aids to see if there is improvement in quality of life, including getting rid of or reducing the church bells ringing 24/7. My ENT also referred me to a specialist for CI. I am going to give the CROS system a chance (60 days for refund) and see what happens. My active life needs to have both ears working.
