Revisions are complex. You need a really skilled surgeon who has done many of them. I would recommend traveling to find such a surgeon if there is not one in your market.

Excellent advice and I'm certain you are spot on!!
The local doctor who agreed to revise them initially thought just the femor could be removed and re-use the Bimingham cup, making it a relatively simple operation.
I myself found out no one makes such a part for the Birmingham resurfacing system, so a complete revision would be necessary...Which I assume is why no one wants to do it.
I'm really wishing I had got on the BHR lawsuits...I've had nothing but pain and serious complications from these things.
