I am the husband of Jacqueline C, and I had my Y90 on 9/3. This procedure is still kicking my butt with fatigue and weakness. Calls to the doctor's office result in responses from nurses saying it takes 3 - 4 weeks to improve, but at this point it is stagnant. My Oncologist has suspended my chemo for a couple of weeks due to the weakness, and as of now i have no CAT scan scheduled to review the progress.
My challenge is that there are so many fingers in the pie between oncology, radiation, IR, etc. that there is no one single point of contact to coordinate data and let the patient know what is going on and what to expect. Right now it seems like each department is kicking the can down the lane.
