Just received diagnosis of afib in the ER 10 days ago, and trying to educate myself, and reassure myself that I just didn't get a death sentence.
Currently I was just attracted to this post because adrenergic afib seems to be the closest trigger match for me...stress and exertion..love pickleball but all of a sudden I went into afib and have several times again, but have stopped not knowing if I'm doing more damage...waiting for more test, but currently on eliquis and a beta blocker.seems I have more questions than what my doc can answer at this point in the game, but I'm launching out on my own search, Thus enrolling in this forum,
Thanks for allowing me to vent

Hello @smalls. It sounds like you are in the early phases of learning more about your afib diagnosis. You may also find the following discussion useful as well:

"AFIB and running"

Members @rice and @nevets discuss some of their afib experiences while being active either in running or more leisure activities like biking and others.

@smalls, you mentioned you are waiting for more testing with your provider, were you given any instructions on what your daily routine should look like while you wait for more results? Any restrictions? You mentioned you may have more questions than your provider can answer, is that because there are still tests to be run that will give more definitive guidance?
