Thank you so much for your response. It helps. I have a lymph node in my groin area that just won't go away. It's very painful at times. I'm guessing it became reactive when my appendix burst. I was released from the hospital still septic. I'm still waiting to see a cardiologist and surgeon and more tests.
I'm so glad to hear you have family around you. I've been alone through this. Nice to share with someone. Thank you 😊🙏

I was an only child and was very lonely. We also moved a lot. When we stayed in an area for awhile, I did get friends. I think the loneliness is what drove me to have 5 kids plus the fact that I loved children. Although I have a great big family, they are very scattered but that's why I love the fact I do live with family. However, sometimes it's a double edged sword. Even with my kids in their late 40s & 50s, there is sibling rivalry. lol Also, sometimes we don't see eye to eye, but we resolve issues. If you don't have family, it might be good to find a support group that you could go to in person or a senior center. I don't have any close friends since we moved here 2 years ago because I'm mainly home or at doctor's appointments, so my kids have taken that place. However, what helps me most is my faith. No matter what I'm going through, I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Things will eventually get better and I have a hope for the future. In the Lord's Prayer, we pray for god's will to be on earth and at Ps 37:10 & 11 it says "Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; you will look at where they were, and they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, and they will find equisite delight in the abundance of peace." This gives me strength and helps me deal with my problems. I am not a patient person, but dealing with these health problems has given me patience. I've always wanted to fix things immediately, but with these crazy cancers, that doesn't happen. I would suggest to keep going to your doctors and ask them all the questions you have. My oncologist is very patient and kind and good at answering my questions, so I'm fortunate. I wish you well.
