Hello Friends,
It's been over two years now since my chemical allergies surfaced -- first with skin rashes (from EVERYTHING on the planet) and then with severe reactions to drugs. I have recently experienced insomnia from herbal sleep supplements and fatigue from OTC common remedies, such as antacids and antihistamines. The one and only common (inactive) ingredient in all of these remedies is stearate, such as magnesium or calcium stearate. I'm curious if any of you friends with chemical sensitivities react to stearates? And no, they're not a typical chemical you can identify through a patch test. I'm learning they're much more subtle than other chemicals and therefore go unnoticed. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello, I also have Multiple chemical sensitivity and Diag with IEI, Along with allergies to MANY inactive ingredients, I've never had any issues with stearate, but I have to be careful to not take to much in the magnesium area I've noticed it does seem to cause acid reflux. I was patch tested and it came back showing I was allergic to Omega 3, have you been tested on very much?
