Im 57 years old. I was in Europe few months for employment etc
I found myself getting treatment for severe overnight edema and found myself in hospital. Cirrhosis was cause and told after asking . It was said due to alcohol and I wouldn't survive a transplant.
Im in rehabilitation nursing home now in southeast USA. Im not well ... is it true Im lost

That’s not good news I do know that I had to qualify and no drinking a year prior at least if you still drink the chances are zero it’s sounds harsh but they don’t want to give up one to have it destroyed in a year I had cirrhosis but I still had one and followed all the rules and qualified at 62 years old I’m 2 1/2 post transplant and am very healthy now And follow all the rules quit smoking too if you do, the main thing with surgery is mine was 13 hours and you need a very strong heart good luck find a team and don’t listen to the first doctor if I did I wouldn’t be here
