Yes, Daily unrelenting burning pain with redness and intermittent swelling
? possible small fiber neuropathy
been under care of the
NEUROLOGY Dept of a world known medical center in Southern Central Connecticut that starts with Y*** that also has connection with Pfizer-THE mRNA Covid vaccine manufacturer! Y*** Neuro have done NOTHING in the last 8 months! Didn’t even do Gold Standard Skin Biopsy to check for Small Fiber Neuropathy, which I’ve read does occur after COVID and can be severely damaging!
Now having more leg muscle deficits! And more deaf ears at Y***!
I’m beginning to wonder if they don’t want us LONG COVID sufferers around so NO evidence of terrible lack of scientific standards during COVID pandemic!!!

Have head pressure 9months. Have numbness and tingling. Do you have insomnia

My lower legs have days....sometimes a week, where the muscles feel "wooly".... slow to respond& don't want to have energy. Not numb. Does affect ability to stand prolonged time. At nightime the bottoms of feet burn & also palms of hands. Nothing relieves but standing on a cold floor& hands in cold water.
Of hands.

After Covid I can hardly walk my legs are so weak. I am having to use a walker and can going walk a short distance before I feel like my legs are going to give completely out. Has anyone else had this problem and did it eventually go away and if so how long did it take?

I get muscle cramps frequently and also weakness due to fatigue. This virus has so many symptoms. The list goes on and on...hang in there. I got up this morning and my whole body hurts.

lottafaith, do your legs also ache? My legs were achey and felt weaker after having Covid in 2022, and I had no idea what was causing it. Eventually went to doctor and he was convinced it was Bursitis. Well..... it wasn't Bursitis. After getting steroid injections that gave me no relief, and then getting an MRI, I found out that I had severe osteoarthritis of my left hip. Got the total hip replacement in October 2024, and after the surgery, my legs felt fantastic! Not sure if this is what is going on with you, but wanted to share my experience. My older sister has the same issue as you after having Covid herself. She just continues to keep trying to strengthen her legs and it has gotten better. Good luck to you!

After very early Covid I have ET, essential Thrombocytosis which is a chronic leukemia. My platelet is normal after 2 yrs taking hydrea. I kept telling my doc I felt worse and was finally diagnosed with POTS. Every med for POTS caused worse side effects…
My legs feel like jello and I’m always short of breath (never smoked) and very fatigued.
The pulmonologist said I was low normal but still normal.
I tried chair yoga, The Levine protocol exercises, and a keto diet. I wear compression knee highs and drink Liquid IV for electrolytes, protein shakes, etc.
I’m no better and feeling discouraged.
Next I’ll see a neurologist re stellate ganglion block, a vagus nerve stimulator or whatever else is recommended.

My late husband was a neurologist (different sub-specialty). I was healthy when he was alive but miss him now more than ever…

Hi @lottafaith. Im about 4 yrs of ever changing leg issues with consistent ones of behind right leg vascular pain intensifies w activity, any type of movement depletes energy quicker and always effects legs feeling like someone is pushing me into ground and literally cant get up if I find myself there . In the beginning I found even using a walker could tire me out faster with having to hold on and push forward etc🙃 My PT shared slow and steady to build muscle strength and know the slow with lifes needs is most challenging. . Pacing is critical to not deplete your precious cellular level energy to allow being up more and for me even brushing teeth or talking has to be factored in to what I should do at what time of day as things become too difficult as the day goes on and then causes crash for never improving cycle🙃. Also big factor for me is listening to how I feel when wake up like real headache now so will be mindful not too much reading and eat very clean to hopefully have better day tomorrow🤞. Hoping this helped with managing your issues and wish you quickest healing journey 🌈
