Can my menigioma grow that quickly?

Posted by mcamero83 @mcamero83, Aug 8 3:57am

I had a CT scan done on a Thursday and my menigioma was 1.5 cm, the following Wednesday I had an MRI and it was it was 3 cm. Is this possible? Is it normal? This is all new to me.

Would you rather not have a possibly serious medical condition diagnosed and treated rather than a few minutes of inconvenience?

My apologies. I didnt give clarifying details. I have CPTSD so my reaction to being in small boxes wlith no escape is traumatizing flashhbacks. And I'm 96 so treatments are limited. The rest of you are correct for your circumstances.

I am so sorry you go thru that. I know it is really hard to do. I have to be sedated to be able to get thru an MRI. Take care and good luck.

I dont think it is "normal" to imprison people in tight boxes and make loud noises . looking business like is irrelevant.

I am currently in the same situation. My labs are QUADRUPLING and the scans show the tumors growing 2-3cm basically weekly. My doctor is wondering if my environment and stress load is maybe a factor in the extremely rapid growth im experiencing, on top of an already aggressive cancer.
