Complications with Peripheral Neuropathy
I was diagnosed with PN in 2018 with symptoms of tingling and pain in my feet. First Medication was gabapentin, (caused dizziness and falling) along with baclofen. Now on Lyrica, Baclofen (3X's day) ,
Cymbalta at night for cramps, Lidocaine/Prilocaine cream on both feet, especially top and bottom of toes. The neuropathy is now in both feet, in calf muscles in both legs, Additional symptoms are pain, stabbing, shock like pain, balance issues (using cane) severe burning in both feet, both legs have redness where nerves are irreparably damaged. Pain is so bad at times I cannot walk without pain and it prevents me from walking and participating in many areas I loved to do in the past. Many alternative treatments, hard to know if any really work. thank you.

I concur, the idea is to make you comfortable, you don’t want to find yourself throwing up which will put a lot of strain on your body.
R- ALPHA LIPOIC ACID helps reduce pain a lot. Research on Grok AI Perpheral Neuopathy with asking.Enter bloodwork
I checked into that and almost ordered it until I read it's not good to take while on chemo.
DID NOT KNOW CHEMO WAS INVOLVED. SORRY.
STILL ASK GROK WITH DIAGNOSIS AND MED FOR SUGGESTIONS.
I have had CIPN (chemo induced peripheral neuropathy) for 20 years. After receiving and completing chemo in 2005. I understand your frustration. No one mentioned CIPN in 2005. I started having excruciating pain. The initial diagnosis was fibromyalgia, chronic myofascial pain and chronic fatigue. CIPN was diagnosed years later. After the pain began, I was able to find pain management. After the diagnosis of CIPN, I tried Lyrica, gabapentin and could not tolerate either. I do take baclofen. I’m so sorry for the situation you’re in. I’ve had to just deal with the symptoms as well as possible. I wish you the very best. Pain management isn’t for everyone. But I felt like, to a degree, it gave me my life back.
Can you tell me what Rituxan infusions are and how they might help?
Thank you!😊
