Lithium orinate update.
My significant other, age 82 was officially diagnosed with Alzheimers a month ago. Last Nov an mri indicated a high probability of it. Medication started then was 28 mg memantine. During a followup appt in Feb 2025 5 mg of donepezil was prescribed. It was increased to 10mg in May. Blood tests confirmed Alz. She has a PET CT Amyloid scan scheduled for Oct 2. Based on the findings of that scan a previous info she will began infusions of Leqembi in Dec . Meanwhile I, on my own, have continued to review all Li orinate I can find. She
has started taking 10mg tablets two weeks ago. There have been no observable side effects. She will continue on them and if there are changes I will report back. Right now the memory issues are primarily short term and repetitions.

Just an FYI that the corrcct name of the lithium being considered by some is lithium orotate. It's my understanding there are various forms of lithium. Also, 5 mg is the recommended starting dosage. Have you checked with her doctor to see what dosage he recommends?
