I totally agree . I had a hip replacement done in Jan 2021 using a mini posterior approach. I had zero pain afterward.
My surgeon, Mark Pagnano from the Mayo Clinic co authored a study comparing anterior versus mini posteriorbin the hands of surgeons experienced in one or the other. There was no difference- outcomes were good with either type.
I was in horrible pain before my surgery. The femur head had broken and I had avascular necrosis.
The surgery was like a miracle. I was walking without a walker three days later.
