@smithakar I know this is an old thread, but were you ever able to resolve this? You are the first person I’ve seen with something so similar to me. I’ve had chronic pain that I feel primarily in my sinuses and teeth but sometimes in my temples and occipital region. It’s not sharp pain, it’s more like a dull? Almost throbbing pressure and there is not a single medication that touches it. The only thing that ever helped were steroids, and as soon as I stopped the steroids it came right back. Mine started a few weeks after I had Covid and has persisted almost constantly for almost 1.5 years.

I also thought mine was sinus related, and found a deviated septum and draining issues on CT. So I had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction and felt fantastic for a few months. Then it came back and again will not go away. It has usually been accompanied by neck/upper back/shoulder pain (mild-moderate like a pulled muscle). I’ve tried muscle relaxers and rubs in case it’s tension related but that does not help. I just feel constant pressure in my head and it interferes with my daily life. I also have chronic insomnia which seems to make it worse. I’ve had both a CT and MRI of my head with no significant findings other than my deviated septum.

The only OTC thing that has ever done ANYTHING for it is cannabis, which is legal where I live. But I can’t spend my whole life under the influence, let alone that long term heavy use leads to other side effects (for me personally anyways) I’d prefer to avoid.

Were you ever able to solve this?

Hi sadly I have not been able to solve this 🙁 I still deal with constant pain every single second of the day. I’m still hoping something comes up. Have you tried nerve blocks or taken nerve meds?
