My numbers are similar to yours . I am doing Algaecal with out strontium. I also had a REMS Scan done recently and my bone quality it quite good. I won't do bisphosphates but instead I do BHRT. Im on the Wylie protocol. I have a trainer and do resistance training three times a week and also tai chi three times. I walk daily. I have a Marodyne low intensity vibration plate that I use twice daily. My diet is very strict. I also take MK4, Fortibone and a pea protein powder. I have done a four day saliva test along with extensive blood work. I'm trying to cover all the bases. Heel drops every day are part of my routine along with vigorous jumping three times weekly. Meditation is very important.

Thank you for your answer. Fortunately I could buy on line strontium citrate. As to Osteostrong, it is not available in the majority of European countries, also in Spain where I live. I do not know why. So, I cannot use it.
I had taken AlgaeCal and Strontium years back and it did not do enough for me and still needed the meds. I still take AlgaeCal (it's been a good 10 years) along with my osteoporosis meds as the calcium does not bother me as do other calciums. AlgaeCal claims that people can build bone just by using their products, I did not have that experience, but I do think that AlgaeCal - actually I use AlgaeCal Plus - is a good product but expensive.
I have just started Algae Cal & I pray to have the results you are
Thank you for sharing.
It's encouraging
I have had two separate physicians say to not take osteo cal with strontium but osteo cal plus is ok. My rheumatologist said no to Algie cal collegen with fortibone. She said two patients of hers developed lupus after taking it. There are two many advertisements targeting people with osteoporosis and it is hard to discern what really works and what doesn’t isn’t it?
Yes, thank you for sharing your experience. My numbers are similar to yours & I was scared into taking the Evenity drug. Just before Evenity I had discovered AlgaeCal & Strontium thru my integrative Dr. I did not tolerate AlgaeCal--possibly the type of magnesium or calcium they include. Now I take a trace mineral product that has the same ingredients except calcium & magnesium. That way I can take the type & quantities that work for me (cheaper, too). I started taking Life Extensions Strontium Citrate (only 2 tabs as 3 would be too much according to all the research), but switched to VitaCost and Swanson (always looking for those w/the fewest fillers). Crazy, but I felt stronger in just a few months & my ankle quit making the cracking noise when I would climb stairs. Of course, I had to stop taking Strontium when I started Evenity.
My hope/plan is to return to Strontium Citrate after Evenity, but I already know that my Dr will not approve. There are several other forums & medical publications that support the use & efficacy of Strontium w/no side effects even after long-term use. I'd like my dr's 'blessing', but I doubt I'll get it.

At the moment my doctor recommended to repeat DEXA, so I am not taking any medicine yet.
I was taking Algae Cal but it's expensive and the level of calcium in the capsules is below other supplements so I stopped. Do you get enough calcium with algae cal?
I wanted to chime in here and give you another option of calcium. I take Nature’s Way Alive Calcium. It’s 1,200mg plant Source. I needed more calcium then AlgaeCal offer.

congratulations with your results on improving bone density without prescribed drugs ! I think it is a dream of many participants of this forum, and mine included.
Taking strontium for OP gives hopes to avoid serious negative effects of OP drugs such as jaw necrosis or untypical hip fractures.
Can you please inform what dose of strontium you are taking? I am seriously thinking about this road too, and have bought Strontium caps 750 mg (Life Extension), however in available most cited research by Meunier et al. 2004) patients were given 2 g. See below.
