I frequently take doxepin. I cut a 25mg tablet into four equal parts and take one serving. I saw an interesting recovery in a forum and I'm planning to combine doxepin with ramelteon. Initially, I intend to try taking 3mg of doxepin and 8mg of ramelteon to see the effect. If the effect is good, I might consider taking it long-term and gradually stopping my current medication.

Sounds like a good plan. If you want flexibility on the doxepin dosage, consider asking for the liquid form. It's technically for pediatric use, which is why it exists -- you need to ask your doctor to prescribe the liquid specifically, because most don't think to offer it as an option for adults.
