I've been taking 5mg/day of lithium orotate (Swansons) for a few years now.
Started after discovering the European longitudinal study that showed lower levels of degenerative brain disease correlated to higher levels of lithium in drinking water.
Lately there have been more positive results and suggestions of a possible mechanism.
No issues.
Theraputic doses of lithium for depression are a hundred or more times higher.
Life Extension has a 1 mg product if anyone is concerned about 5mg dose.

I have had my head in studies for months. I have MCI and a profound family history of AD- so I am compelled to pursue this nutritional supplement therapy. It .

I did buy the 1mg capsules and after I complete weaning off my sertraline, I plan to start at 3mg and work up to 5.

And the profile of citizenry in locales that have naturally occurring Lithium was a big issue influence on my decision.

Do you have any noticeable positive effects?

Do you do any periodic check-up? TSH? Diabetes?
Thx!
