Have any of you tried CBT-I for sleep issues ? Cognitive Behavior Therapy for
Insomnia. It has helped me tremendously! Find a qualified therapist in this area. No drugs - no problems.

I have tried it, but just recently. If a doctor had told me about it and where to find a therapist years ago I may not be on sleep medications today. But when I first went to a sleep specialist for insomnia in 2001, he prescribed temazapam and trazodone and I have been on sleep meds ever since. Today it’s Lunesta and Gabapentin. My CBT-I therapist said it wasn’t designed to get one off sleep meds but to help one sleep better whether on the meds or not. It helps somewhat but I’m still on the meds. I don’t even know where I could go for help to get off of them. But CBT-I seems to be a good program.
