Thank you,
I just signed up for the flu shot. I will see about the pneumonia vaccine also. With doing this as you know, at nearly 83, it will be my first time for both and in reality it might give me a little more lee way around people this winter. My doctors will be glad to hear I am "going for it'.
For me, I never did think 'not me' I just wasn't into it, so to speak. With BE and my age in reality, it's time for sure. My sister will be disappointed but at 70 she just had the C Reactive Protein test and several other tests I suggested and no problem found...for that I am thankful.
She has been vegetarian and into vitamin supplements for over 35 years and somewhat, I believe, one of the 'not me' people with regard to avoiding the vaccines. She has helped herself through Covid without medication and other things, minor problems, with her methods and supplements. We all have 'our time' when the unexpected does happen and that somewhat frightens me for her.
Hope you are doing well .......and yes I can imagine the scare 'you all' had with H1N1. That for sure was one of those unexpected diagnosis.

Yes, I really don't understand the resistance to science (vaccines). Perhaps with some it is the fact that unless it "hits home" as it did in your case they just don't get it. Look at measles which has risen to rates not seen in this country in decades. I guess people forget the refrigerator trucks outside large urban area hospitals for the dead during Covid.
