No, take it upon waking and don't lie down for at least 1/2 hour. Then breakfast if you wish

The version I take must be taken on an empty stomach and an hour before taking my thyroid meds (which also must be taken on an empty stomach) - then I wait a half-hour before eating breakfast. I take it with lots of water and continue to drink water during that first hour. So far, I have not had any problems with this, other than it's a nuisance to wait an hour and a half before eating LOL!
