Hi @muradangie -
Thank you for reaching out. I was treated at Mayo with two different chemotherapy regimens for Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL). I had multiple tumors in my body (stomach, lungs, brain). Because of the brain tumors, mine was classified as CNS lymphoma.

I received four rounds of MATRix treatments alternated with four rounds R-CHOP treatments to target the brain and the other areas. Both of these chemotherapy regimens have multiple chemotherapy agents so it was a number of chemicals. The final phase of my treatment was to include an autologous bone marrow transplant but I was unable to complete the transplant after chemotherapy due to insufficient stem cells.

I do try to find acceptance and some humor in my short term memory issues but it is frustrating at times. I continue to work on it and remind myself each day how very fortunate I am to be here counting 14 months of post treatment remission.

Thank you again for sharing this information. Mayo Clinic Connect continues to be a great resource for me.

@0318, I'm sure it is quite frustrating. I am glad you can find acceptance and some humor. It is reassuring to know there are things we can do to help but at the same time we need to be patient.
Wishing you the very best,
Angie
