Hello @wayne52 and others , I am. only 8 days itto wearing Phonak Audeo150-R aids! I do hope I can deal with the glitches , shall we say, of the App. I asked google which hearing aid companion App is the most reliable and one choice was Starkey. I am so depressed to find other posts on line that say MyPhoak is the "the worst " !! @tonyinmi You've already worn two brands of hearing aids ? over what time period may I ask ?? I do hope I can also get used to the discomfort of wearing Behind the Ear aids with glasses !!! I'm going to the see the optometrist for new thinner frames !! All told this is turning out to be expensive !! Gotta run - thanks for listening !!

@nyxygirl I've been wearing hearing aids my entire adult life. I used to always buy Starkey because the audiologists used to recommend them for their power. It may have been a lie since I've had positive results with other manufacturers. I have always needed custom molds and elected to use the full shell, in-the-ear models. Many years ago I tried Phonak because the "micro zoom" feature was supposed to be the best for background noise reduction. Again, I think that may have been a lie since the Phonaks were no better than the Starkeys with background noise. The Resounds were the first time I went with the behind-the-ear model. I bought Resound in Oct 2017 and they did perform better than all the previous aids but it was most likely due to the technology improvements. I then went with my current aids, Oticon, in May 2023. I've had Bluetooth problems ever since Bluetooth was available. The problems are not serious, but for the price we pay, we should not have any quirks.
