I have qualified to have a kidney transplant at Mayo Phx. I have two donors testing to be my donor. Could someone tell me what happens next.“When will Mayo call me to let me know my donor has qualified and is ready to set the date for the kidney transplant. How long does the testing of the donor take?

Have you done all the medical tests necessary and they approved you for a transplant?
The donors will go through very similar tests. I just had mine done the first week of August in PHX. All together there were about 13( with 2 of those being zoom meetings). It took about 3 days to complete. I still have one more to do and I’ll be done. Depending on what they find with the first tests, they may or may not, continue to have more. After they have the results of all tests, their medical team gets together to either accept, or reject the potential donor. It’s a process…
