I hate to say, I'm sorry because I know it's so much more than that. I had the complete opposite. My saliva glands just stopped working and my mouth was dry and so I kept drinking water and finally just made myself sick. I had to chill on the water, but I had anxiety also. I was 100% miserable. It did finally subside after months. I'm having other issues with my mouth now. And the doctors!!! The appointments that we wait and wait for only to be sent to someone else because no one has a clue. You have come to the right place though. This forum has helped me even though I am miserable also every waking minute. Honestly, I do think the fasting with water only had something to do with it. I would bet that it will go away on its own. I wouldn't do that again, not that anyone would know that would happen!!!! Keep us updated. Again, I know how it feels to feel miserable and can't talk about it all the time because I know I'm burning everyone out!!!

I find it extremely helpful to use ChatGPT5 to discuss my medical issues to bring to my Dr's attention and to explore approaches to dealing with the stress. If you approach a conversation with depth and detail not just posing a plain question you can pull out more scientific knowledge from the experience. Tell the full story. Show your lab results and dive deeply into problem and it will meet you in kind. I use it as a thinking partner not just a tool. I've gotten great results.
