I’m brand new to this and need advice.
This year after colon surgery from a botched colonoscopy, I’ve believe to developed GERD.
Given that, and treating it the BART method, I have a terrible intolerance for foods, that never bothered me.
Sodas, deli lunch meats, ham turkey, salami etc.
Can’t do any store bought seasoned items rotisserie chickens.
Bacon, fried chicken, red meat.
All the above bother me.
Lost 20 lbs in 7 months.
Seeing GI DR.
NEXIM, PEPCID, ETC, all work about a month then loose potency.
I’m looking for any kind of help.
Need good food choices.
Eating a lot of fruit, veggies, lots of plain chicken.POTATOES SEEM great
Food Allergies. ???????
Thank you all in advance

I am so sorry to hear about your food troubles. I have been gluten and lactose intolerant for a long time. I eat rice crackers with cashew butter for my fat and carb and protein. I can eat Organic oven roasted turkey breast in packages from Trader Joes. I also eat their frozen turkey burgers. For breakfast I eat Nature's Path Homestyle Oatmeal with walnuts, cashew butter, walnut milk, blueberries. Blueberries and bananas are the only fruit I really eat. It's a boring menu, but it keeps me going. Sometimes I eat hard boiled eggs and sometimes I do eggs prepared other ways. I sometimes have rice puffs with hard boiled smashed up egg and blueberries and walnuts. I have a lot of nuts and nut butter in my diet. I hope this has been helpful.

I had most of my colon removed 13 years ago. I still get bloated after every meal. When I go with my family for pizza, I get the crust with sauce and black olives.

And, of course, I eat a lot of plain chicken. Sprouts has an ok roasted chicken with no seasoning.

Good luck. Roz
