I’m so sorry for the pain you’re in.. my study is so similar to yours.. I’m on my second pack of prednisone pack. I can hardly lift my arms my shoulders hurt so bad..
The ER was totally not knowing what to do.. I said I wanted no pain meds I just wanted any answer if possible!!
I was just wondering did you see your neurologist and what did he say!
Thank you.
Hugs to you my friend!

Hi… I’m so sorry you’re going through the same thing I am. I’m now 11 weeks out from the Reclast IV, and in that time I’ve been through two rounds of Prednisone, countless medications to manage the stiffness and pain in the back of my skull and neck, an epidural to my upper spine (which only brought relief for two weeks), massages, physical therapy, a trip to the ER out of pure desperation, and even a consultation with a spine surgeon. Yet, not a single doctor seems to know how to address this, nor can anyone tell me when this medication will finally leave my body.
My endocrinologist (the one who administered the Reclast) refuses to acknowledge that the dose was far too high for my 100 lb frame, and has essentially dismissed my situation altogether. It feels like she’s just buried her head in the sand. Honestly, I believe there needs to be a class action lawsuit against Reclast.
At this point, I’ve lost hope that I’ll ever return to how I felt before Reclast. Aside from osteoporosis in my hips, I was a healthy, active woman, and now I feel completely crippled by this.
